“ Come for the good pizza/food and reasonable prices, not for the ambiance - as you walk in, you feel like inside an MIT library.. no music, cold and quiet large space. We got some wine (no complaints, but also nothing special) and the anchovies pizza, which was good, yet on the saltier side, and very wet at the center (while try near the crust). They were super kind go provide some extra red sauce (which was hot and tasty! Thank you for that!). I just wish they would be a bit more creative with the toppins (learn from Si Cara, you're neighbor) ”
“ Some of the best pizza around! Absolutely love Area Four. These guys have been nailing high quality pizza long before it was an expectation. They've usually got some great beers on tap and the staff is friendly as well. Clean, comfortable, casual.. and an all around great place for a meal and a drink. ”
“ A really nice pizza spot on the MIT campus! The pizza was doughy and the ingredients were fresh! The prosciutto and arugula pizza was our favorite. The craft beers are also amazing - I love the sour one! They were nice enough to let us sample a few first! ”
“ Gotten pizza takeout once and came in person last night. Ambience and lights were great! Great for a small group of friends Salmon 9/10: I really liked it! Prosciutto pizza 8.5/10: get it! Mushroom pizza 6/10: can use some work.. Brussels sprouts salad: too much dressing.. ”
“ HOLY SHIT. This place is unbelievable. Working in the area I always walk by and have never been in. Clearly, I was living under a rock. I decided to take a client and a coworker for lunch, and we were BLOWN away by the food. Three salads and the butternut squash pizza...I am not sure what kind of crack magic the chefs are putting in this food, but it was some of the best we've had. Would highly recommend making a reservation on open table before dining, this place is always busy and for good reason. Drooling over the arugula salad and chicken. Friendly staff and quick service. A new favorite. BRAVO! Support local. ”
“ We ordered delivery from here on a Saturday night. It was about half an hour for delivery for five pizzas, which was super fast! We live about a mile away. We ordered the cheese, margherita, mushroom fontina, maple bacon and pepperoni. All were delicious! The mushroom one was my favorite and the maple bacon was a close second. I didn't try the pepperoni but my friends really liked it too. The crust is nice and chewy, which I prefer over crispy crust. I heard once that they use a sourdough base, which lends a nice flavor to the dough. A solid pizza option in Cambridge. ”
“ In contention for one of the best pizza spots in Boston. Unique array of appetizers that are also solid. Brussel sprouts salad with hazelnuts and Parmesan was an interesting ménage that worked. Sourdough starter for the pizza and knots. The margarita pizza was crisp, thin with a pleasing aesthetic and improved taste with some fresh basil. ”
“ I was initially confused when a friend suggested we grab breakfast at Area Four, which I mostly know as an excellent pizza place and bar. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the Area Four Cafe, as they call their morning operation. Buzzing with hip Kendall square workers, they have a full coffee bar and offer a solid range of breakfast options from oatmeal to breakfast sandwiches to gigantic and tasty pastries. I had the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich which was served on a house-made English muffin with the texture of a light fry-bread that was pillowy and delightful. I also tried the cheddar scallion scone which was flakey, moist and flavorful. I would highly recommend as an excellent breakfast option in the Kendall area and will certainly be going back in the near future! ”
“ My friends and I came on a Friday night at 8. They didn't have any availability inside but we were able to get seated immediately outside. I loved the pizzas. The dough was so nice and chewy, and the cheese was delicious. We each got a small and were only able to finish half; next time, I'd probably share a small with apps or a large. We also got a Brussel sprout salad which was delicious. I'd skip the garlic knots next time. ”
